This is a Martin HD-28 Vintage Series acoustic. It is becoming
harder and harder to find genuine Vintage Martins at affordable
prices, so when the odd new one comes up which is close, it finds
its way into this section. This is simply a great Martin. The
solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides are a cut above the
average and the sound and playability of this instrument are of
a standard normally associated with hand built custom shop acoustics.
An aged toner in the lacquer has been used to give the guitar
that genuine vintage look and the features are taken from historic
Martin specifications such as slotted headstock, Herringbone inlay,
12-fret neck, scalloped bracing, V neck shape and Waverly Butterbean
style machine heads. Comes complete with Martin 540 Geib style
hard shell case.
