  This very rare 1926 1-18 small body acoustic has had a newer ebony bridge fitted, but apart from that is all original. There where only 37 of the style 1-18 type guitars made in 1926, and production was stopped in 1927. The Tuners, Barre Frets and finish are original.The neck has just been re-set by a Martin approved luthier, and has a low action plus plenty of height on the saddle for future adjustment. The tone is Balanced, Big and Beautiful. Included is a cassette of songs (and handwritten note) performed by a previous owner featuring the guitar, and a letter and e-mail from C.F.Martin Guitar Company confirming the model.
