This is a lovely, rare, and very special little guitar. I fell
in love with this one as soon as I saw it. How could it survive
over 50 years and stay in this near mint condition. I looked at
it and could't believe it, it's almost like new. Every thing is
original apart from the tuners, they have been changed (we will
supply original 50's Gibson tuners that will fit exactly) also
the knobs. The guitar plays great and the one P90 pick-up sounds
lovely. This guitar is a scaled down version of a ES-175 and I
have never seen one like this before. This is the first issue
model with the wide body, it later changed to the ES-140T thin
body in 1957. I don't think you will find another ES-140 in this
sort of condition. Factory Order Code/Batch number is V4974 8.
Supplied with an non-original padded gig bag.
